Lehrer? He's on Youtube too. Here he is on how to get ahead in an emerging technology http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTKn1aSOyOs&feature=channel_page. (The owner of this youtube channel even claims Lehrer OK'd their being posted there.)

OK, that was three minutes well spent... but where's the, y'know, social critique? (Where's Tom Lehrer when you need him?)

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Youtube and Science Communication
Hi PSCI-commers,
I'm interested in looking at science communication activies on Youtube as part
of my Masters research but am unaware of what has been / is being done by
practitioners.
I've been active producing content on the site myself
(www.youtube.com/TheProfessorFunk) but have yet to come across many
other examples that aim to use the medium to generate dialogue.
I'm mainly keen on any activities that have been formally evaluated or funded
by organisations - but really any examples of sci-com on the tube would be
also be helpful.
Your help is greatly appreciated,
Daniel Keogh
