As a quick follow up to my last post, I have spotted that other Battles like Hastings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Hastings) and Towton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Towton) *do* show up on Google Earth when you zoom in far enough, and I think it's down to the way that the georefs are stored in the page.
For Bosworth it is in the Military Conflict Infobox:
|coordinates = {{coord|52.60|-1.41|region:GB-LEC|display=inline,title}}
Whereas for Towton it is towards the foot of the page code as:
{{coord|53|50|09.0|N|01|16|24.0|W|region:GB_type:landmark|display=title}}
Afraid I'm not enough of Wikipedia person though to know exactly how to resolve this, so will hand over to others on the list....
