**ISG (Scotland) AGM and Tour of the University of Edinburgh Main Library**
The Information Services Group (Scotland) invites you to its AGM and
tour of the re-developed floors of the University of Edinburgh Main
Library on Monday 27th April at 14.35.
The tour will cover the new 250-place study space on the 5th Floor and
the new Centre for Research Collections on the 6th. Sheila Cannell,
Director of Library Services at the University of Edinburgh, will
provide an introduction to the re-development. Dr Joseph Marshall will
then give the tour of the re-developed floors, including Special
Collections. You will be able to hear about the background to the
library and its collections and go behind the scenes to see the books
and manuscripts in the strongrooms.
The Main Library is at George Square, Edinburgh EH8 9LJ. A map can be

stops include: Lauriston Place, Forrest Road, Bristo Place, Surgeons
Hall, St Patrick's Square, Buccleuch Street, Chapel Street, Potterrow.
There is no charge for the event. Booking is essential as only 15
places are available. Preference will be given to ISG members.

15.00: Talk given by Sheila Cannell and tour of the re-developed
floors given by Dr Joseph Marshall.
