Heya guys,
I'm trying to use dpns-setacl to set the acls for the new
atlasscratchdisk area, and the command is acting up (I'm running as
root on my headnode):
[root@fal-pygrid-30 ~]# dpns-getacl
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/
# file: /dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/
# owner: /C=UK/O=eScience/OU=Cambridge/L=UCS/CN=frederic brochu
# group: atlas
user::rwx
group::rwx #effective:rwx
other::r-x
default:user::rwx
default:group::rwx
default:other::r-x
All good so far....
[root@fal-pygrid-30 ~]# dpns-setacl -m default:group:129:rwx
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/: Invalid argument
[root@fal-pygrid-30 ~]# dpns-setacl -m
default:group:atlas/Role=production:rwx
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/: Invalid argument
+ many others
No matter what I do (experimenting with placements of "" and
whitespace) I can't get it to accept the changes to the
/dpm/lancs.ac.uk/home/atlas/atlasscratchdisk/ directory. I might be
doing something obviously wrong and hope to have a glaring error
pointed out to me, but it sounds very similar to the problem found in:
http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=27627 (except
for a different dpm tool).
Thanks in advance,
Matt
