After a "git pull" this afternoon, and removing applications/extractor/*
> ./update-modules
Updating local repository submodules:
fatal: Not a git repository: 'applications/extractor/extract/src/.git'
fatal: Not a git repository: 'applications/extractor/sextractor/.git'

< Add regenerate codlist.c files
< Add .gitignore
< Merge branch 'vendor' (v3.2.1)
I suppose I needed to remove each sub-module separately retaining the
dot files. How do I restore the .git files,"git reset --hard"?
