Business Development Consultant (Institute for Local Governance)
Salary Dependent on Relevant Experience
This post has been created to lead the implementation of an Institute for
Local Governance for the North East of England as a partnership between the
region's universities, local councils and other public services. The Business
Development Consultant is an interim role pending appointment of core staff to
the Institute. He/she will play a leading part in the process of appointing staff
and setting up governance, financial and office arrangements, working closely
with Durham University as the host organisation for the Institute and the
North East Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership as the main
sponsor. The post would be ideal for a secondment or a consultant seeking a
longer-term contract.
