Description
(This post is open to Job Share) You will participate in the delivery of library
services by manage and maintaining the print journal collection and helping to
manage and maintain the library's book and audiovisual collections. You will
manage the on-site enquiry service and delivery of on-site information skills
training as well as contributing to the literature search and current awareness
services. You will provide professional assistance and deputise in the absence
of senior library staff. You will have an undergraduate degree or postgraduate
degree or diploma in library and information Science. You will have post-
graduate experience in library work, ideally in a health-related environment.
You should also have a High level of IT competency - holder of European
Computer Driving Licence, or experience of using the internet, electronic
databases, and word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. You
will have an understanding of data protection and copyright legislation and
experience of working as part of a team in a customer focused environment.
