The World Economic History Congress 2009 is meeting in August 2009.
between the 3^rd and the 7^th in UTRECHT, The Netherlands.
There is a session 'Working-class saving in the nineteenth and early
twentieth century. An international comparative perspective' on Tuesday
August 4, 2.00 PM - 5.30 PM. If you would like to contribute a paper to
this session about working-class participation in mutual aid societies
somewhere in the UK (preferably 19th century) please contact Gerard Borst.
