Doug, I've been sympathising with you and your countryfolk for several
months, you poor things! My mom, born and raised in Alberta, British
Columbia, told us kids only of the grand and beautiful countryside, so I
always envisioned a gorgeous Canada [as indeed it is!] but without the
relentless snow; thirty-some subsequent years in Chicago's long cold snowy
winters make me 'feel' for you!!
Warm thoughts,
Judy
