This is to alert you to a special mini-symposium on Conical Intersections at the 64th Ohio
State International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy, which will be held June 22-26,
2009 at OSU in Columbus, Ohio. This mini-symposium, co-organized by Spiridoula
Matsika and myself, is designed to bring together theoretical and experimental
researchers with common interests in exploring the involvement of conical intersections
in the spectroscopy and dynamics of molecular systems.
In the format of the conference, presentations are given in the form of short talks (5, 10
or 15 minutes). In addition, longer invited talks for this mini-symposium will be given by
David Jonas (Colorado) and Todd Martinez (Illinois).
We hope that you will consider submitting an abstract to the meeting. All abstracts must
be submitted electronically at the URL:
http://molspect.chemistry.ohio-state.edu/symposium/
and the session category for this session is 11. We look forward to a great meeting at
Ohio State and hope to see you there!
Best regards,
Scott Reid
Wehr Professor of Chemistry
Marquette University
