Hi Kat
A couple of years ago I did a keynote presentation called "The Library, the
Web and the Warp Factor" which I thought was pretty neat until I met up with
another speaker, Dave Pattern, who was actually practicing what I was only
preaching! I suggest that you check out Dave's activities on
http://www.daveyp.com/blog/
and on the Library 2.0 Social Networking site:

Subject: Library Systems and Web 2.0
I am doing a project in my workplace to introduce Web 2.0 tools via our
library
management system. I know that some vendors are beginning to introduce
this sort of functionality (i.e. Soutron have a system called Presto which
they
market as a 'Social Library System'), but wondered if anyone might be able
to
share their own experiences of using library systems which incorporate
rating/recommending/blogging/tag clouds etc.
I'm more than happy to hear from vendors of these systems, but if you could
contact me off list, then that would protect everyone else from too much
blatant advertising!
Many thanks in advance
