CILIP in Scotland is hosting a major one day conference for the library and
education community on 19th March in Glasgow. This important event aims to
show that libraries play a key role in supporting formal and informal
learning. It will consider how libraries are responding to the challenges
set by Government economic strategy which is driving demands for new
knowledge, skills and behaviour in the knowledge economy.
