This is the last chance to book on this fantastic workshop!
This annual event offers an excellent opportunity for art library students and
trainees to network and gain insights into the world of art/design professionals
in a range of roles; what its like to work in academic libraries, the curatorial
world of the museum and gallery sector, special collections/archives work and
the particular skills of librarians involved in the art market - hear how they
got where they are and what a typical day involves. You can also take along
your CV and get expert advice on how to promote your skills better in the
workplace - if you can only get along to one event this year, this surely must
be the one!
This is a workshop run by the ARLIS Student and Trainees Committee. For
more information on this event and forthcoming visits and workshops please
see Arlis website www.arlis.org.uk and click on 'Events'.
Deadline for booking Friday 20 February 2009.
