thanks Marios, it worked perfectly okay.
I think, my problem was with interlogger.sock - when I first looked, it
was owned by edguser
root@serv07 grid-security]# ll /tmp/interlogger.sock
srwxrwxr-x 1 edguser 500 0 Aug 19 12:16 /tmp/interlogger.sock
Once I remove the file and restart gLite, everything started okay.
