Dear all,
we just installed our CE from scratch. We have no special setup, just
"out of the box" with yaim. (OS: CentOS 4.7).
We see that nearly every day we are hit by globus-gma processes going
into zombie state.
Just now there are over 6000 of these dead processes:
[...]
32710 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32723 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32731 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32736 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32742 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32748 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
32752 ? Z 0:00 [globus-gma] <defunct>
[root@grid-ce ~]# ps ax | grep globus-gma | grep defunct | wc -l
6009
[root@grid-ce ~]#
Is this a known issue? How to proceed from here?
Best regards,
Torsten
