Essex County Council has an agreement with the Environment Agency for
mutual data exchange, so we can't charge for any consultation from them.

Subject: Charging (again....)
Hi guys
I know this pops up now and again, and I have asked before, but here we
go again.
I have to review our charging policy.
As part of this I am thinking about who we do and don't charge and why
eg Utilities, but also other consultees eg EA, EH, Defence Estates, etc
I have a vague memory that someone once told me there was some sort of
agreement between ALGAO and their organisation (which again I can't
recall - it may have been Defence Estates) that they would not be
charged by HER's.
I have had a look at the ALGAO and IFA websites and can't find anything
about this.
Is anyone aware of any such agreements with any organisation on behalf
of HER's or suggest places to ask if they do exist?
NOTE: I am not saying we will charge these people just want to know if
we can
Similarly, is there anything similar in place for Utilities, either in
the relevant legislation or elsewhere?
I could trawl the legislation but I am hoping some bright spark on here
might know and save me the hassle
tar
best wishes
