You must be careful to type commands exactly as suggested, e.g., the
command is: ". ${FSLDIR}/etc/fslconf/fsl.sh", i.e., the ". " at the

Are you certain you know where your FSL has been installed? Normally, a
directory called fsl with subdirs: bin; etc; config; data; lib, etc. We
normally suggest /usr/local, so:
ls /usr/local/fsl
