The conference addresses and discusses the notions of inclusion, integration and special needs education from an educational perspective which aims at reforming the current education system.
The conference’s main purpose is to provide inputs for reflection concerning the meaning of
inclusive education by looking at it from different theoretical perspectives.
Different approaches to the notion of disability in education will also be provided.
In particular, the conference will discuss the following themes:
· The concept of inclusion from national and international perspectives
· The differences between the notions of integration and special needs education
· The implications for practice, school organisation and education in general
