Learning Technologies Adviser (2 Posts)
from £31,513 to £37,651 per annum
As part of the Learning Technologies Group, you will be responsible for
supporting staff using a variety of technologies in their learning, teaching
and research activities. Working proactively with academic, research and
administrative colleagues, you will provide pedagogic and technical support
for their use of the university's Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard),
a range of Web 2.0 technologies and a variety of other technologies. This
will include the development of innovative training sessions and
documentation, provision of one-to-one and customised small group support
sessions and advice on planning and implementing elearning and research. You
will also play a key role in identifying emerging requirements for
elearning/research and contributing to the planning and development of
future learning technologies services. Good working knowledge of technical
platforms, applications and network systems and evidence of supporting and
using a Virtual Learning Environment is essential. Job sharers welcome.
