Call for papers
Archives & Social Studies: A Journal on Interdisciplinary Research
(http://socialstudies.cartagena.es) is planning its next issues, and it
welcomes articles, notes and books review on the following topics:
Vol. 3 (September 2009): Archives and fiction. We are seeking
contributions on archives in fiction and archives of fiction, but,
particularly, we would like to suggest the motif “archives as a
fiction”. Deadline: July 31st 2009.
Vol. 4 (September 2010): Memory. We are seeking contributions from an
interdisciplinary point of view, that is to say, not only contributions
from the archival or historical point of view, but also from related
perspectives, such as sociology, anthropology, psychology and
psychiatry, cinema, photography, geography… Deadline: July 31st 2010.
Vol. 5 (September 2011): Personal archives and the web. We are looking
for contributions on the use of the Web and Web 2.0 by people, in order
to manage their records, and how these practices can affect
recordkeeping concepts and practices. Deadline: July 31st 2011.
