conference for career young
statisticians, are delighted to announce that the early-bird

**Invited speakers**
We are delighted to have secured two dynamic plenary speakers,
Professor Adrian Bowman
(University of Glasgow) and Michael Blastland (author and journalist).
Adrian will speak
on the topic, "Statistics with a human face", and Michael on "The
Good, the Bad, and the
Clueless - Numbers in Public Argument".
In addition, YSM 2009 launches two parallel workshop sessions.
