Dear all,
I’m writing to you from Jeans for Genes, the UK charity which helps children
with genetic disorders.
We are holding focus groups during the first week of March to get feedback
from teachers on an exciting new resource we are developing to teach school
children about genes. The resource will be launched in the summer and
contains materials tailored to key stages 1-4, including interactive whiteboard
activities, films, an animation, and much more!
I was wondering if anyone could put me in touch with any primary or
secondary school teachers who might be willing to take part in the focus
groups. In return we are able to offer participants £35 per session (plus
refreshments). We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers
specialised in science and\or citizenship\PSHE.
The groups will take place at our offices in Paddington on:
Key Stage 1 – Tues 3rd March, 5.30-7pm
Key Stage 3 – Tues 3rd March, 7.15-8.45pm
Key Stage 2 – Thurs 5th March, 5.30-7pm
Key Stage 4 – Thurs 5th March, 7.15-8.45pm
I know teachers are incredibly busy and sought after people, but if anyone
could help we’d be extremely grateful!
Please get in touch for more info.
Kind Regards,
Ailsa Taylor
