ESRC Quota PhD Studentship in Socio-Legal Studies and/or Criminology, Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, School of Law University of Leeds

The School of Law at the University of Leeds invites applications from prospective PhD students for a full-time ESRC funded +3 quota studentship in socio-legal studies and criminology commencing October 2009.
Applicants for ESRC awards are expected to have completed recognised ESRC research training at Masters level or have equivalent research training experience and a degree in any of the social sciences at undergraduate level or above.

Maintenance grants for studentships in 2009/10 will be £13,290 per annum, and research in certain areas may attract a supplement.
