Thanks for that Malcolm. JAC now has a functioning HTX_SERVER
http://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/htxserver
http://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/htxfinder
http://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/hcserver
I've tweaked them a bit so that they point to themselves in the links
rather than pointing back to RAL. Malcolm, could you have a look at
updating the hcserver file at RAL?
I've also fixed hcserver so that
1. gzip and compress ACTUALLY WORK
2. the name of the file is served so that the client knows it's
getting sun92.ps rather than something called hcserver.
The latter has bugged me for about 12 years.
setenv HTX_SERVER http://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/cgi-bin/htxserver
will get you the documents from us.
Of course one outstanding problem is that those documents still have
hardcopy retrieval URLs going to RAL. Is it possible for star2html to
convert the Starlink hcserver URL to the value of $HC_SERVER
environment variable?
