Hello,
It seems that the MEX files (compiled C files) provided with SPM5 are
not compatible with your Matlab version.
First, download and install the SPM5 updates from:
ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm5_updates/Updates_1782.tar.gz
so that newer files overwrite existing files.
Then download and install the more recent MEX files available here:
ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm5_updates/SPM5_Matlab7.1_Linux_MEX.tar.gz
If you still get the same error message, then go in the 'src' folder of
your SPM5 distribution and run 'make && make install' to compile the MEX
files yourself.
All the best,
Guillaume.
