Just a reminder that time is running out to book for the EDRM in Practice
seminar which is taking place in Birmingham on 24th February next year.
The idea behind the seminar is to provide a forum where speakers and
delegates can share their own experiences, as well as question others about
what's working well and what hasn't worked so well. It's aimed at public
sector organisations that are planning to invest in either traditional EDRMS
or SharePoint or that are identifying areas for improvement and planning for
EDRM in the long term. The focus of the conference is extremely practical,
and vendor participation is limited.
Speakers include:
Sue Childs from Northumbria University; Zoe Rowland and Debbie Slade from
the London Borough of Hackney ; Heidi Judd, Business Analysis Team Leader at
East Sussex County Council; Tim Cain, Head of Knowledge and Information
Management at the Scottish Funding Council; Craig Dickman from the Deer
Commission for Scotland and more.
The audience will be made up of around 60 records and information managers
from a cross-section of public sector organisations and will be seated in
round tables of 6-8 to encourage interactive debate. Much of the round table
debate will focus on future challenges facing records managers and fresh
case studies and live demonstrations will examine specific issues in some
detail.
