I have been given permission to book all of next year's meetings, so I have
done so. The dates are as follows:
Friday March 27th (this is slightly later than I had originally thought as the
meeting room at Westminster is being refurbished and will not be available
earlier in the year).
Friday 17th July
Friday 6th November
So please do put the dates in your diary.
I haven't put the agendas together yet, but the themes are likely to be
Professional development - including accreditation, training issues, coping with
restructuring, change management, benchmarking, job descriptions etc
Information Security - Including managing information risk
EDRMS, Sharepoint, e-mail management etc
If any one would like to make a short presentation on one of these subjects,
or has a case study to offer, or would be prepared to lead a discussion group
please let me know. I suspect that the professional development day will be
one we can turn into a discussion forum with the production of some generic
documents at the end of it.
We're also looking for sponsorship for the meetings, although I have some
sponsors in mind I would welcome either offers of sponsorship or suggestions
about whom I could approach.
I'll look forward to hearing any suggestions, comments and so on on.
