Planetarium Programmes Officer
Royal Observatory, Greenwich
GBP 20,000 - 28,000 per annum (starting salary dependent on skills and
experience)
This exciting new role at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich is an ideal
career opportunity for anyone with a passion for communicating astronomy.
As a member of the Science Team, the post holder will be responsible for
supporting the development and delivery of planetarium shows, the
coordination of planetarium programming and resources, and the maintenance
of planetarium technology and content. Working alongside other planetarium
staff, the Planetarium Programmes Officer will play a key role in the
continuing success of our live and pre-recorded show offer. Excellent
communication, team working and IT skills are a must. The Royal
Observatory, Greenwich is a Division of the National Maritime Museum,
and the post holder will also be responsible for supporting the wider
activity of the Museum.
