Thanks for that. I hadn't seen that, and it is one of the few clips that
makes my camera work look good. However, they do break the sticks even
though, as you say, it looks less robust than a full broomstick. There are
loads of descriptions of the demo (with the first appearing in 1532!), and
they all say it is easily performed with a full size broomstick - it would
be great if that is the case, but I am sceptical. Perhaps broomsticks have
changed over the years! Also, they are using a metal bar whereas I was
using a wooden one - that may matter.
