OPEN POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN MATRIX ISOLATION SPECTROSCOPY
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the group of Scott Reid at Marquette
University. The primary efforts of the successful candidate will be directed towards
design and execution of experiments in matrix isolation spectroscopy of organic and
organometallic reactive intermediates, using a newly constructed matrix isolation
apparatus in the Reid lab. The candidate should possess a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical
physics or a related field, and candidates having experience with matrix isolation
experiments, high vacuum equipment, and a background in molecular spectroscopy will
receive preference. The salary is competitive, with a generous benefits package, and the
position is available initially for one year, renewable upon mutual consent. Interested
