A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dong-Sheng Yang at
the University of Kentucky. The project involves spectroscopy and structures
of transient metal clusters and complexes in the gas phase. Metal clusters /
complexes are produced by laser vaporization in molecular beams and studied
by photoionization mass spectrometry; zero electron kinetic energy (ZEKE),
mass analyzed threshold ionization (MATI), and IR-UV spectroscopy; and
quantum chemical computation.
The University of Kentucky is in Lexington, located in the heart of Kentucky’s
beautiful Bluegrass region. Furnished apartments are available on campus.
