Dear Colleagues,
There are still some places left for our Mighealthnet event on January
15th, 2009 from 2.00 to 5.30pm. At Queen Mary University of London, we
have been working on this European project on good practice in health
care for migrants and minorities.
The Mighealthnet project aims to give professionals, policy makers,
researchers, educators and representatives of migrant and minority groups
easy access to a dynamically evolving body of knowledge and a virtual
network of expertise. On January 15th, we will launch this information
website, as well as provide you with an excellent opportunity for networking
with academics and professionals working in the area of migrant and minority
health.
The aim of the event is to raise a discussion on current developments in the
field of migrant and minority health and the potential of a virtual network
of expertise in sharing good practice initiatives. Speakers include Prof.
Kamaldeep Bhui, Prof. Mark Johnson, Prof. David Ingleby and Mr. Marcel
Vige from Diverse Minds.
