Dear all
The vendor isn't sure this is a sumpter pot. I'm no expert on lead
smelting, but is there anything about this pot's design and dimensions
that tells us that it is a sumpter pot rather than a domestic item?
Regards
Ian

Sumpter Pot - Nenthead
Dear All,
Noticed this on again and thought that someone on the List might know of a
suitable collector or Museum that might be interested. I have no idea of
provenance obviously, but it's in the right sort of area at least.
Regards, Bernard
