The white part near the centre of the picture is the chalk pits north of St
Austell, which include the Wheal Martin chalk mining musseum tourist centre
and the Eden Project.
The larger white parts in bottom right must be Dartmoor, so is probably
snow?? Can't imagine why else it would be such a large area of white.
