Salary is: £31,620 - £38,250 (including £2,781 London Weighting) - Grade 7
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the world's top-ten
universities. The Communications team in the Development & Corporate
Communications Office is dedicated to promoting UCL's achievements and
objectives through a large programme of engaging communications
materials for a broad range of audiences and stakeholders.
As Content Producer (Writer), you will work as part of a team to
generate editorial content for online and printed publications aimed
at diverse audiences. You will contribute to UCL's growing programme
of audiovisual news and features, helping to promote the activities of
UCL staff, students and alumni to the world. You will be writing on
diverse subjects - from astrophysics to anthropology - so both an
enthusiasm for academic subject matter and the ability to engage with
and interpret university research are vital.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of interviewing,
writing and editing for electronic communications as well as print
media, and will be energetic and organised, prepared to work across a
range of projects simultaneously. Experience of producing and editing
video and audio news is also highly desirable.
