Dear ILL folk
I have come up with the following questions -I know someof us have already
been frustrated because these which we might have previously borrowed from
BLDSC are now no longer available.
1) If BL have the microforms of theses from our institutions, why can't
they
give them to our libraries? That way we could go on lending them
ourselves, and this would enable the universities with a will not lend
policy to lend the microfilm copies of their theses, if BL are unable to
continue doing this. Our users would be able to access them without having
to make journeys all around the UK.
2) The document which came with the original message gave some details
about how we can pay the digitisation charges that may be levied
occasionally. I've also checked the FAQ. How should we pay? There is no
information about how we can do this. I don't think that we should be using
our own individual credit cards and then asking for our institutions to
refund us. Can EThOS send invoices addressed to our institutions for these
charges?
