REVISITING THE ITALIAN RENAISSANCE: CASE STUDIES
7-10 May 2009 St. John's University in Manhattan, NY. 2009 American
Association of Italian Studies (AAIS) Conference.
This session invites papers revisiting the Italian Renaissance.

literary borrowings, and influence can be examined along with the issue of
genre as a narrative form. Papers focusing on chivalric romances, genre
debates, "contamination" of genres, and the work of Ariosto are
particularly welcome.
Please send a 200 words abstract. Organizer: Slavica Grujicic, University
of Toronto ([log in to unmask]) Abstracts due 15 January 2009
