School of Applied Sciences – Natural Resources
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Geographic Information in the Integrated
Environmental Systems Institute
£37,266 to £49,613 per annum
We are seeking a dynamic scientist to strengthen further our successful
geographic information and remote sensing team. This is an outstanding
opportunity to join an established and thriving research group in a wholly
postgraduate institution and to develop cutting-edge applications of GIS and
remote-sensing to environmental and other problems. Cranfield is one of the
top five research intensive UK Universities and has more than 200 staff doing
research on natural resources and sustainable systems.
You will have completed post-doctoral research and either have or be well on
the way towards establishing a career as a researcher in GIS and remote
sensing. With a track record of successful proposals leading to published
outputs, you will be ambitious and looking for more responsibility in a team-
based and collegiate culture.
