Jon,
We have a good selection and would be happy to loan a piece. Please go to http://www.bgs.ac.uk/data/britrocks/britrockSearch.cfm to generate a list. Samples prefixed MR are likely to be good display specimens and are held at Keyworth. Samples prefixed S have thin sections, but are held in Edinburgh.
Thanks,
Mike

Subject: Anorthosite specimen required
Dear All,
I'm trying to source a good-sized chunk of anorthosite for a forthcoming
display. Does anyone have a piece going spare, or know of a source for
donation, loan or purchase?
Thanks
Jon
