Hi all,
For many of the older adults we have scanned, in order to get full coverage
of the frontal pole regions from bet, we end up with bits of neck and skull
when extracting our 3D structural brain images from the skull. From
discussion in the archives, it is clear that it is better to be over
inclusive for fMRI data - is it also ok to have a little bit of skull and/or
neck in the extracted structural image when this will be used for
registering data across subjects? Or is it important to have a perfect
extraction?
Thanks for the help!
