The first findings from the third year of the GUS study have been published today. At Year 3, the children in the study are aged just under 3 and just under 5. Two reports are now available to download.
Food and Activity:
This report explores issues relating to food, eating and physical activity for children aged just under 5. It includes findings about diet and eating behaviours; participation in physical and sedentary activities; the relationship between diet and activity; and the relationship between breastfeeding and BMI (Body Mass Index).

Non-resident Parents Report:
This report explores the prevalence and nature of non-resident fatherhood among families with young children and includes findings about household transitions, patterns of contact with non-resident parents and how contact arrangements are made.
