A tremendous graduate employment opportunity has arisen to
work as a Business+ Associate in a project involving the
University of Portsmouth and PassivSystems Ltd.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the
development of a world-leading assisted care product to be
deployed in the home, using the latest sensing and Internet
technologies. The role provides the opportunity for the
right candidate to be part of the creation of
next-generation connected home-healthcare products.
Programming experience will be required and a first or
higher degree in a relevant subject to a minimum standard of
2:1 Hons or equivalent is essential.
The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated,
able to work with minimum supervision and able to take the
initiative in solving problems. They will work as part of a
close knit team and need to be able to communicate at all
levels, be flexible and be prepared to help with any of the
day to day activities of the company, as required.
The Associate will be based at the PassivSystems offices in
Newbury and will occasionally work at the University of
Portsmouth and make visits as required to customers and
collaborators. Opportunities for specialist training and
registration for a higher degree may be provided.
Duties and responsibilities will include researching the
topic area, forming recommendations, rapid prototyping and
validation, specification, and assisting in the
implementation of the system.
The appointment is offered for a fixed term period of 40
weeks. The potential exists for employment with
PassivSystems Ltd upon successful completion of the
Business+ programme.
