Dear Evelyne!
you may have a look in:
Harry Wüstemann, Die Schwerter in Ostdeutschland,Mit einem Anhang von
Josef Riederer, Prähistorische Bronzefunde, Abt. 4 / 15; Stuttgart 2004.
Josef Riederer from the Radgen Forschungslabor in Berlin has published a
broad database of chemical analysis in this book.
as well as
Burgess, C B, & Colquhoun, I, The swords of Britain, Prähistorische
Bronzefunde, Abt. IV / 5, 1989. with a contribution of Peter Northover on
the technological analyses.
You might also contact Sue Bridgford who has written her PhD on this
topic(Bridgford, Sue, Weapons, warfare, and society in Britain 1250-750
BC.,Unpublished PhD Dissertation: Sheffield University, 2000). As far as I
know Dr. Peter Northover / Oxford University was her supervisor.
Best wishes
Mathias Mehofer
