The main problem is that the code is actively being developed (AST,
MERS, GAIA, KAPPA, SMURF) and if you go for a bit without an update
you really need to be careful about building the libraries first by
noting which ones got an update. But yes, nightly builds would tell us
of problems before you find out the hard way.
