Dear Colleague
If you have a 3rd (or 4th) year research student who is engaged in writing up qualitative data, then you might be interested in applying for them to attend this workshop (letters to research students and to their supervisors attached)details attached), which has been specifically designed to help them with this process. Please note that research students have to be nominated by their supervisor (nomination form attached). I'd be very grateful if you could forward this message, with the attachments, to relevant research students and supervisors in your institution.
You might also be interested in the website associated with the project:

There has been considerable interest in the Writing on Writing section of the site, where social science luminaries write short pieces on writing. The latest pieces are by the anthropologists Arthur Kleinman (Harvard) and Alan MacFarlane (Cambridge), with Ken Plummer, Harry Walcott, Alan Walker and Jaber Gubrium to come, and several more promised.
With best wishes
Robin Humphrey
