LCACE, the Cultural Leadership Programme, and MLA London present:
Developing the leaders of tomorrow
Workshop on Leadership and Organisational Development
Date: 19th February 2009, 10.00am - 2.00pm
Venue: Birkbeck University, Central London
Find out how you can join cultural institutions from across the museum, library, and archive sector to secure funding to develop the leaders of tomorrow and strengthen your organisation.
Partnership projects involving some of the UK's leading cultural organisations have recently been awarded more than £200,000 through the groundbreaking Cultural Leadership Programme (CLP) initiative Meeting the Challenge: Development Programme.
This initiative has allow institutions such as Tate Modern, Farnham Maltings, the Young Vic and Battersea Arts Centre to work alongside other cultural organisations on leadership development for some of the most talented people working in the sector today. CLP would like more organisations from the museum, library, and archive sector to engage in the programme. This workshop is to inform the MLA sector about these opportunities and to encourage organisations from the all sections of the MLA sector to apply. For more information on this and other opportunities see www.culturalleadership.org.uk <http://www.culturalleadership.org.uk/>
Find out about this and other Cultural Leadership Programme opportunities at an informative and interactive workshop to be held in collaboration with the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange and the MLA.
The event is heavily subsidised by LCACE and the Cultural Leadership Programme, and costs just £10 per place.
