Oh yeah, forgot about the concurrent users thing - they need to get rid of
that licensing structure and charge per FTE. Unless you have some sort of
Uber-administrator who lives to create and then recreate lists how are you
supposed to get anything out of your money?

Isn't this describing Wimba Create?
I think the question was concerned with Wimba Classroom? I know that
colleagues here have had troubles managing the administration for a
limited number of concurrent users that our licence provides for.
Other than that Wimba seems easy enough to use and support from Wimba
has been fairly forthcoming.
For what it's worth...

Hi Chris,
We bought a campus licence for Wimba and have found it to be a great
tool for staff - easy to use (with some support). I also liked the fact
that we could create our own design scheme and we were able to customise
the CSS to make it a little more in line with our college logo/colours
etc.
When we first bought the licence, I ran some training sessions with
staff and created video tutorials and now many of our lecturing staff
are using wimba to create online content.
Hope this helps,
Sarah

Greetings All
Here at Canterbury Christ Church we are looking at using either Wimba or
Elluminate and I was wondering what experience anybody has had of either
product?
What are the plus and minus points?
How easy staff and students found them to use?
And the levels of support offered by both companies to both students and
staff.
Thanks in advance for any replies
Chris
