Public Organisation and Centre for Multilevel Modelling)
Sponsored by the ESRC National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) in
conjunction with the South West Branch of the Regional Studies Association
and the Quantitative Methods Research Group of the Royal Geographical
Society (with IBG).
Outline
This is a 2 day workshop combining presentations and discussions on how to
measure and to model social and ethnic segregation, with demonstration of
software available to do so. It will also explore methods and techniques
available to use, collate and combine new sources of administrative and
other micro-data. It will be led by members of NCRM nodes LEMMA (Learning
Environment for Multilevel Methodology and Applications) and ADMIN
(Administrative Data: methods inference & network) in conjunction with the
Centre for Market and Public Organisation, a multidisciplinary ESRC Research
Centre.
A draft programme is attached.
Attendance is free but is limited to approximately 40 persons, inclusive of
speakers. Accommodation is not included.
