Oh, Doug, the temperature here is in the high 30s each day, with 40 forecast
for New Year's Day. We are about to go to a lunch with my son who is here
for a Christmas break - dining under sailcloth in a hotel's garden - lovely
(not too hot: in the 40s it is too hot leave air conditioning).
I'll try to take photos ... It's the Rose & Crown, open since 1842, if
memory serves me well.
