Think the best thing he ever did was the Green Mile, when he was tied down
to a Dickensian length of monthly prose.

{Actually, I think Stephen King is an incredibly under-rated writer in term
of status rather than sales.
He writes well, simply at too great length, usually.
Bit like Melville that way, you might say.
